The Blackmagic PYXIS monitor - a 12.7 cm touchscreen with USB-C camera control. The new Blackmagic PYXIS monitor features a 5-inch (12.7 cm) HDR touchscreen panel that allows full camera control with the same overlays as the built-in LCD screen of the Blackmagic PYXIS 6K camera. It includes multiple mounting points and a USB-C connection.

This new monitor has a 12.7 cm (5-inch) HDR 1080p touchscreen with 1500 nits of brightness. It comes with a removable sunshade for better visibility in bright conditions and multiple mounting points for increased flexibility. When recording, the monitor has a bright signal light that's easily visible from a distance. It also has three customizable buttons for quick access to functions like zebra, focus assist, false color, and more.

The monitor supports a single-cable solution via the USB-C connection. With the included locking USB-C cable, you can not only display the video but also power the monitor from the camera and access all the settings and menus of the PYXIS 6K camera. This means you’ll have power, live view, recording controls, menu access, metadata, and camera settings all through a single USB connection.
